The Pearson Centre for Policy and Learning has been established by Pearson, the world's leading education company, in response to:

> A knowledge-driven economy in which education is critically important
> The lack of an established private sector company contributing to the policy debate

The Pearson Centre for Policy and Learning (formerly the Pearson Research Institute) is officially being launched in September 2010 and will
stimulate debate, collaborate and share ideas through world class policy intelligence and analysis. We will also deliver high quality conferences,
learning materials and forums for debate.

Our work is aimed at government, the policy community (social, economic and education) and end users (learners and practitioners).
